Comprising a group of former and current players, parents, coaches, and enthusiasts, our collective vision is to establish an organisation that places athletes before profit. Our journey began out of necessity, driven by the profound belief that athletes with vision impairments deserve the best possible support and resources.
Previous administrations were unable to provide us with what we needed to create the optimal experience for our athletes. That’s when we took matters into our own hands, founding Goalball Queensland with a fervent commitment to making a difference.
We are united by a shared mission: to foster inclusivity, promote physical fitness, and instill confidence within the vision-impaired community through the exhilarating sport of goalball. As a player-centric organisation, we are resolute in our dedication to ensuring our athletes receive the support and opportunities they deserve.
